Youth Migrant Project (YMP)
YMP in 2020 will be July 13-17
The Youth Migrant Project (YMP) is based out of St. Charles Parish in Burlington, WA up in the Skagit River Valley. St Charles runs the tri-parish food bank as well as the lunch program for children of migrant farm workers.
For the 2018 blooper reel visit our picture/video website!
YMP serves an average of 400 families each week at the food bank, and brings lunches to over 100 kids each day! As a Junior High Youth group we have the opportunity to serve our community for a week through making lunches, running the food bank, sharing meals, working at the community garden, and living in solidarity with the community up there!
It is a life changing experience to serve others and to see the face of Christ in those that we serve!
Thank you to everyone who supported us this year by making a donation to YMP, by coming up for a day to help out, or through prayer! We felt loved and supported all week and are already looking forward to serving again next summer! check out our blog posts from the week here!
