Welcome to Junior High Youth Ministry at HFK!
Junior High Youth Ministry at Holy Family Kirkland is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders!
We are Junior High Youth Ministry and we are living life on the EDGE: we get messy, we run around, we yell and scream, we serve our community together, and we grow in faith. Come discover how having a personal relationship with our God can completely change your life!
The center of our program is the Eucharist, and we celebrate together as a community at our 5pm Sunday evening Youth Mass. Afterward we meet for EDGE Nights to learn more about our Catholic faith and grown in community.
Here are some of the things we are up to this year!
EDGE NIGHTS: We will meet weekly after Youth Mass on Sunday evenings throughout the school year (September – May) for EDGE Nights. Come to play and learn more about our faith as well as spend time growing in community with other junior high students! EDGE Nights are 6:30pm – 8pm.
TNT NIGHTS: Introducing Tuesday Night Theology! We will meet most Tuesday’s in the Teen Center throughout the year for some serious fun and some serious faith! Foose ball, rock band, modern day saints, and maybe even some cupcakes! WHO KNOWS what will happen at Tuesday Night Theology! 6:30 – 7:30 in the Teen Center!
RETREATS: We have two major retreats throughout the year: Fall, and Spring. Where we take time out of our busy lives, head up to camp, and spend the weekend growing in Faith, playing in God’s creation, and building up our holy friendships.
YOUTH RALLY: We will join with junior high youth from the entire Archdiocese of Seattle for a day filled with praise and worship, talks, and fun at the Junior High Youth Rally.
SERVICE PROJECTS: We participate in the parish wide Day of Service, as well as opportunities throughout the year such as preparing meals for food banks, helping with Vacation Bible Camp, and parish clean up days.
SOCIAL EVENTS: Small group social nights, game nights, and other fun events!
ADORE: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with praise and worship

All of our events are open to all junior high students whether you participate in EDGE Nights or not! (unless age/grade restriction is noted in details of events calendar or on permission slip) Come and check us out!
